It is with a heavy heart that the family of Dr. Leila Denmark announces that she passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 1, 2012, at the age of 114 years and two months. She was laid to rest at the Portal, Georgia cemetery on Friday April 6, 2012, the cemetery where her husband, Eustace, was buried in 1990.
